There is perhaps nothing more creepy in the world than large wooden beads hot glued onto empty pill bottles. I know they scared me on more than one occasion. And this is coming from a person who is keeping live silkworms in the classroom (and my apartment this weekend).
Anyway, these creepy guys are actually being dressed up by my students to go along with their biography reports. I'll take some pictures when they're finished. They're turning out pretty cute so far. A kid in the class across the hall made a yarn beard for his Van Gogh doll. I almost died laughing when I saw it. I don't know if any of ours will be that good, but keep your fingers crossed.
I haven't done much else on the crafting front since the quilt. I generally need a week (or two) to clear my mind after finishing such a huge project. After my little crafty break, I'm starting to feel ready to take on a new project. So, I'm headed out to JoAnn's to pick up some new fabric, and probably a lot of other stuff I don't really need.
